At Signal Systems Corporation we combine a deep understanding of advanced technology with exceptional skill in bringing our customer’s perspective to new projects. We bring these strengths together with our proven practices of hardware and software development to provide solutions that are changing the state of the art.

Many of our projects use active noise control (ANC) technology. We host an ANC subweb for the community to learn more about this exciting technology.

Core Competencies:

1) Acoustic sensor and sensor array design and optimization accompanied by signal processing that enables source
localization, target characterization and tracking with electronic cancellation of platform noise.

2) Research and development of advanced sensors and the supporting algorithms/software.

3) Prototype production, field testing, and sensor/platform optimization to meet operational requirements.

Signal Systems Corporation is a leader in the field of ground vehicle acoustic sensor systems and a pioneer in platform noise reduction technology.  Our ongoing research and development efforts in platform noise reduction, acoustics, sensors and signal processing makes SSC uniquely qualified to develop the acoustic sensor system installed on FCS ground vehicles.  We have ongoing ground vehicle acoustic sensor efforts from basic research to production design.   We continue to develop fully automated acoustic sensor systems that incorporate noise cancellation technology, and provide detection, localization and classification of acoustic targets (vehicles & impulsive events).
